Just as a pillar upholds the weight of the roof;
Likewise, man’s mind finds all the succour and support from the True Master.
Just as a lighted lamp dispels the darkness;
Likewise, a person’s soul gets illuminated on beholding the True Master.
Just as the light shows the path to a man in darkness;
Avtar says, if one meets the True Saint, he reveals God to him in no time.

Meaning
Just as a pillar holds the weight of the roof; man's mind finds all the support and guidance from the True Master. Just as a lighted lamp dispels the darkness of roadside; a person's soul gets illuminated by getting the glimpse of the true Master. Just as light shows a man his path when it is dark
Avtar says, if one meets a true saint, he then reveals God instantly to him.
